Speed, cost and success rate, measured on 787 real production jobs.
Across 337 AI video jobs FXI Studio ran between June 28, 2026 and September 26, 2026, MiniMax H3 Turbo was the fastest model (median 7 s, n=30) and Grok Imagine Video the most reliable (100% success, n=45). Seedance-family models were the slowest and failed most often (66.7% success across 48 jobs), mostly on the model's own content and copyright checks. Most runs in this window came from FXI's own production and QA work; all figures are measured job outcomes.
At a glance
MiniMax H3 Turbo and P-Video are faster and cheaper than the average ranked video model (median 2 min 24 s, $0.93 a clip). Seedance 2.0 is the most expensive at $2.50 a clip, with a median of 4 min 57 s. Bubble area is jobs run; colour is success rate.

List price divided by success rate is what a usable clip costs if every failed attempt were paid for and re-run. MiniMax H3 Turbo is cheapest per delivered clip at $0.25; Seedance 2.0 climbs from $2.50 to $3.68. This is a worst case: failures that are refunded bring the real figure down.

These models ran too few times in the window for a fair comparison. They are in the CSV with their raw counts, but we do not rank them or quote their rates.
Seedance 2.5 is priced at 190 credits per 5-second clip. It is reserved for an optional, approved final-cut pass on Director films, so it has no production runs yet in this window.
Key findings
MiniMax H3 Turbo is the fastest video model we run: median 7 s, p90 12 s across 30 jobs, and the cheapest at 10 credits a clip. That makes it the right tool for blocking ideas, not finishing them.
P-Video carried the most volume (105 jobs) and finished 96.2% of them at a median of 16 s. That speed is why it handles utility transitions; for story scenes, Director films draft in Seedance 2.0 Mini instead.
Seedance failures are mostly policy, not outages. 12 of 16 failed Seedance jobs were rejected by the model’s own content and copyright checks, most often on generated audio. Success across the family was 66.7% (32/48).
Quality costs minutes. Seedance 2.0 had the slowest median at 4 min 57 s, with a p90 of 10 min 39 s. Budget for it: a six-shot film on the slowest model is a coffee break, not a click.
Failures reprice the list. Divide Seedance 2.0’s $2.50 list price by its 67.9% success rate and a usable clip costs about $3.68 if every failure were paid and re-run. MiniMax H3 Turbo stays the cheapest delivered clip at $0.25.
FLUX 3 Video · Draft is cheap but patient. At 15 credits a 5-second clip it is among the lowest prices here, but it took a median 3 min 9 s, and 7 of its 8 failures were jobs that never came back within an hour.
Stills are the reliable layer. Z-Image Turbo finished 98.5% of 199 images at a median 20 s across 25 accounts. Iterate on stills, lock the frame, then spend video credits once.
Methodology
695 jobs back the ranked rows. P-Video has the most video runs (n=105, success known to about ±3.9 points); Seedance 2.0 Mini has the fewest (n=20, ±19.3 points), so read its rate as a range, not a point.

In FXI Studio's production data (June 28, 2026 to September 26, 2026), MiniMax H3 Turbo was the fastest AI video model with a median of 7 s from submit to finished clip across 30 jobs. P-Video was next at 16 s (n=105). Seedance 2.0 was the slowest, with a median of 4 min 57 s.
Grok Imagine Video completed 45 of 45 jobs (100%). P-Video, the highest-volume model, completed 96.2% of 105. Seedance 2.0 Mini had the lowest success rate at 65% (n=20).
12 of the 16 failed Seedance jobs in this window were rejected by the model's own content and copyright checks, most often on generated audio. The rest were input or service errors. In our experience, keeping named songs, brands and lookalike voices out of the prompt and Sound line avoids most of them.
On FXI Studio's list prices, a 5-second clip ranges from 10 to 100 credits across the benchmarked models, which is about $0.25 to $2.50 at the Creator plan's $0.025 per credit. Larger plans lower the per-credit price.
Every generation job FXI Studio dispatched in a 90-day window was counted. Success means the job finished with a stored file. Time is wall clock from submit to finished file, successful jobs only. Models with fewer than 20 jobs are listed separately and not ranked. Most runs in this window came from FXI's own production and QA work; all figures are measured job outcomes.
